Strategy: We are working on visualizing during stories. What pictures can you see in your head that help you understand what is going on in the story?

Skill: Noting details. We are looking for three details to be pulled from each story we read: one from the beginning, one from the middle and one from the end.

Genre: Realistic Fiction

Writing: Personal narrative. We're working hard on using capitals at the beginning of every sentence, punctuation at the end and spelling our sight words correctly. Our task is to be able to write three sentences about a story from our lives.
